Sys­teman­ti­cs is a com­pu­ter science of­fi­ce, with a strong em­pha­sis on the ›science‹ part. We are in­te­res­ted in the big pic­tu­re, in what is be­hind the sce­nes, in short: in the ge­ne­ral con­cept of things. This is si­mi­lar to the scien­tifc ap­proach of fir­st try­ing to un­der­stand a sys­tem be­fo­re chan­ging it.

Lutz Iss­ler, foun­der and ope­ra­tor of Sys­teman­ti­cs, has pu­blis­hed in the field of me­di­cal in­for­ma­tics and in­for­ma­tion ma­na­ge­ment. He con­ti­nues his re­se­ar­ch work with Sys­teman­ti­cs, the­re­fo­re spe­cia­li­zing on the field of se­man­tic con­tent ma­na­ge­ment and au­to­ma­ted in­for­ma­tion pre­sen­ta­tion.
